lucy is a bonafied multiversal power, while joker is universal. not only that but lucy could probably talk joker into giving up his power and killing himself. the power difference is too much. miss match of the highest order.

EJ.

Mxy's power > ALL.

Lucifer.

What did Emp Joker do that was beyond universal? I thought the best thing that was done was the universe was rebuilt by Mxy during that arc?

Though Lucifer apparently took a multiversal level explosion with no harm. I can't see Emp Joker/Mxy hurting him.

Though yes Lucy could probably talk the Joker into not only killing himself, but into realizing deep down he is in love with Batman.

I think EJ has more raw power but Lucifer more control and smarts, he should take it.

Remember Joker never had full control of Mxy's powers, but in the end Joker was about to destroy everything. I don't know if a multiverse was mentioned when Joker was running around, but am 50% sure at the end When Kal Mxy and Spectre were talking, Mxy mentioned fixing the Multiverse.

Galan007
^ All universes across all time(past/present/future) were mentioned.

Mr Master
I finally read this story. The multiverse was in danger of unravelling as an inadvertence but never did.

The aftermath affected only Superman's universe.

It took Mxy 5 hours to fix Superman's universe:

http://g40i.imgup.net/Mxy263f2.jpg

"I guess we did." The whole universe." ... "All the universe ... "duct tape this backward dimension back together."

----------------------------------------------------------

But don't feel bad friends, next month in WF he finger snapped DC back after erasing it.

Galan007
Yep, a guy who could barely even begin to comprehend Mxy's power still casually warped/destroyed/recreated the entire universe, casually owned/imprisoned the Spectre-force, very nearly succeeded in collapsing the entire multiverse(past/present/future), and caused multi-dimensional havoc that the Imps could sense all the way from the 5th dimension.

...Not surprising that Mxy himself was capable of doing so much more, so much easier. thumb up

*edit
And it took Mxy that long to fix the mess Joker made, because of how extensive the damage to creation was--this was explicitly stated.

WF confirmed for noncanon! We finally did it, guys!

@Galan ... ey... I'm just helping a brother out: (below)

Very early in the story, Mxy stated that Joker's influence had already spread into the higher dimensional planes:
http://i.imgur.com/Mdq1s25.jpg
Mxy: "All five dimensions gone haywire..." And as we know: higher dimensional planes(like the 4th World/dimension) are infinitely more vast than the prime 3D multiverse.

Joker exhibited some of this power by whimsically destroying and recreating the universe:

http://i.imgur.com/DztVoX2.jpg

He also overtook/replaced the Spectre-force with ease:

By the end of the arc, Joker had nearly succeeded in destroying the whole of creation:
http://i.imgur.com/RW5dDeZ.jpg
Mxy: "It ain't over until all of reality is reduced to a single point of infinite gravity, so you still have a few moments to figure out the rules."

And just so we're clear: "all of reality" in that arc=the multiverse:
http://i.imgur.com/eW9dJmp.jpg
Spectre: "...Everything will unravel. Not just your earth --not just your universe-- but everything that is, was, or will be."

To further solidify the fact that DC still defined itself as a multiverse at the time:

The above scan is from JSA #13--published 1 month before the EJ arc started.

That's why it took Mxy a good bit of time to fix reality. The damage Joker caused was just that extensive:
http://i.imgur.com/xM7pcnC.jpg
Spectre: "We are all very close to absolute annihilation, Kal-El. With his uncontrolled manipulations of reality, he is tearing apart the fundamental fabric of the cosmos With every cruel whim, with every mad impulse, the Joker has brought us all to the very brink. Not even an adept can tinker with the essential nature of everything without repercussions--and Joker is no adept..."

So yeah, even a guy who could hardly grasp the power at his disposal was a casual universal power, and exerted multiversal(and multi-dimensional) influence. CrayCray.

Mr Master
I only saw Mxy fixing Superman's universe though. There was no mention of multiversal repairs that I read.

I think all that extra jazz is what would've happened eventually
if Joker kept messing with Superman's universe. ... inadvertent cause and effect type deal.

Galan007
I said that Joker exerted multiversal/multi-dimensional influence(because he did.) I did not say that he actually destroyed the multiverse.
