As to how fair that actually makes this fight though....

Healing factor ftw eventually. Hype beats the crap out of him majority of fight though.

Hyperion was blown into chunks and healed.

Lobo is up there with the elite bricks in DC like Superman and Captain Marvel, and runs through a team of Elite Lanterns.

He certainly does NOT get beaten most of the fight. His strength feats alone embarrasses Hypes own.

His Healing Factor keeps him in the game, and as the homicidal abstract concept keeps him from being killed.

On Average Lobo gets 3 pieced. If he's drunk off his ass, he'd eventually wear Hyperion down and stuff a frag down his throat.

I'm not sure who to pick. On one hand Lobo has a healing factor that allows him to come back even after he has been reduced to nothing more then a pile of blood. On the other hand Lobo has also quite clearly been knocked unconscious by physical force in the past.
