Was Rouths strength unlimited?

Imo, yes.

It's supposed to be the Chris Reeve version, so yes, I would imagine so.

Reeves was weak to knite, Routh seemed to just power through, he seems much stronger.

Routh was weak to it too until he got his little sun-boost. And even then he needed surgery to save him.

Still, the intent behind the character was to make him the same version, so I don't imagine them being much different.

He could still fly with the knite in his body before the sun boost.

Reeves couldnt even move with it around his neck on a chain.

True; I'm just saying I don't think the gap is THAT big. Either way, I don't think it matters in terms of the thread.

Routh's strength would have been whatever was required of the plot, just like Reeve's was, imo.

Regardless he was the strongest right?

Reeves was the strongest based off showings but yes, Routh did have unlimited potential.

I just don't think it's anything Reeve wouldn't have done.

Reeves moved the moon.

I think they are the same.

The K weaknesses was just plot.

Plot needed him weak as a puppy or move an island for the sake of the plot.

Wouldn't put to much thinking into it as both are supposed to be the same character.

When did Reeve move the moon? Was it Superman 3 or 4? I haven't watched those in a LONG time.

I think its similar, he was weak to Knite as well. Lex's thugs were able to beat him up not unlike when superman had the knite chained around his neck in the original.

Yea but considering how weak he was, he survived a beat down that would have killed anyone, even in an incredibly weak state, being stabbed and falling hundreds of feet and then almost downing he survived. Then lifted an entire continent of knite, after a few second sun boost, removed it from earths crust and took it away, then survived re entry completely drained, and shrugged it off after a night of sleep.

Reeve Superman = Routh Superman they are the very same version to my knowledge. Just by feats, Reeve moved a moon, beat his clone and turned back time by speed alone. Routh best was lifting an continent while poisoned by knite. Reeve has the better strength and speed feats, Routh the better durability feat. Take it for what it's worth, I see them as equals.
