No prep.
No BFR.

Killgrave should win.

I'm sure a writer would probably make some excuse on why he could no sell his powers (Unless it's Kevin Smith, the guy who had him get shot, which was an "It's about damn time" moment for me. smile )

thumb up

Especially now with the chemicals making Joker effectively immortal; they'd probably say that the chems caused some change in Jokers cellular structure that causes him to be immune to Killgraves power (wasnt pre DCnU Joker immune to Scarecrows fear gas?)...

And besides that, given the fight location, if Joker doesnt take out Killgrave immediately, Killgrave could literally call every civilian in his immediate vicinity to his side and overwhelm Joker...

Unless Joker beats him in 5 seconds or less, Killgrave stomps...

Sweet responses, no joke...yes

Cant edit so:

Fairly sure PM has used people as an attack tool on at least Daredevil before. This was pointed out to me earlier, as this takes place in midtown Manhattan.

Surtur
Wait Joker is immortal now? Just...why?

riv6672
Oh, dont even ask, its depressing. no

with those stips then yeah, PM destroys joker because it wouldn't really be PM vs joker, it would be joker vs a whole mob of people commanded to kill him. joker would need some prep to make up for that handicap--weapons, bombs, acid--those would even the odds, but in this situation he has no chance to win.

Guess the joke would be on Joker, then...

A writer decided that Joker needed a justification as to why Joker can keep coming back from seemingly inescapable death...

riv6672
Yeah because being an awesome villain just doesnt hold water anymore.

If that is the case then they pretty much should just make every single character immortal. Jokers not the only one where death is like a revolving door. Death is nearly as meaningless in DC and Marvel as it is in the Dragonball universe..and in DC/Marvel they don't even have magic wish balls to bring people back it just tends to kind of happen. Even Cyclops has been all "lol I'll never truly die".

Bentley
Joker kills himself, not because any mind control, he is just bored.

Even Cyclops has been all "lol I'll never truly die". they did explain that in a marvel comic recently. I think it had to do with a mutant that was constantly altering reality so that the heroes and villains could be young forever. She even said that Iron Man had been in his thirties for the past sixty years because she could never imagine him just dying of old age or anything like that. So yeah, marvel at least partially answered why everyone stays young and doesn't die.

riv6672
^^^That...is just awful.
