Since universal is planning a shared universe with their horror characters like the marvel and dc movies, what do you feel about it? I'll shortly post some links asap

CPT Space Bomb
I personally think this is stupid. We don't need more shared universes....people need to just stop it.

quanchi112
I like it as long as it's done well.

Khazra Reborn
I like monsters, so I'm all for it.

Inhuman
I thought they already started this with The Dracula movie.

Yeah...same here. Some should naturally go together. Lycans, vamps, frankensteins can all share one as they come from same areas timeframe anyway. Having Godzilla in Pacific Rim is stupid. Kong in any other verse cept his is stupid.Aliens vs. Predator is natural, or should be but they ****ed up. It really just depends on what monsters and how they mesh.

Right? Even if it sucks it might have some cool moments in it.

That was the rumor, but it seems like it's not since the upcoming The Mummy (2017) is supposed to be the first film in the new shared franchise.

Maybe it was and then the poor box office performance had the studio scrap it for a future Dracula tie-in film. Certainly seemed like it with the end scene and big D being in modern times.

steverules_2
I think I'm one of the few who liked the mummy film from 1999, the sequel was 'meh' and the third film was just...horrendous in every way possible

He's aged well, but if he looks at bit long in the tooth to be a in the field Navy SEAL as he's in his early 50's, that's when make-up comes in.

Khazra Reborn
Is Tom Cruise starring in The Mummy? I hadn't heard that.
