Weakest character who can ragdoll Bane

The Ellimist
Ragdoll meaning being able to move him telekinetically at will to the point where Bane cannot do anything in turn.

NewGuy01
Consistently? The top tiers, pretty much.

The Ellimist
If each successive Banite master is on average 5% more powerful than the previous, and there were roughly 30 Sith between Bane and Sidious, Palpatine ought to be roughly four times more powerful than Bane. I think this is a pretty generous assessment; the power creep needs to be big enough for the apprentice to consistently best the master. We also get this impression from comparing the power level of Plagueis and Sidious.

So Bane is probably four or more times weaker than Sidious, and roughly three times weaker than Vader.

Obi Wan could ragdoll him tbh.

AncientPower
Doesn't work given that Darth Gravid spent her entire reign as master trying to un-f*ck what her master originally f*cked up, it took until the time of Tenebrous to regain all the Sith knowledge that had been sabotaged generations ago.

The logic is faulty based on that.

The Ellimist
Pretty sure there's a quote explicitly saying that the Banite sith grew stronger each generation; they may have lost specific practices like essence transfer, but their power in the Force increased as the dark side grew stronger.

Nephthys
No one except the Ones

carthage
Anyone that has better TK feats than unamped Bane, I could see Exar, Krayt, Dooku, Anakin, Malgus, Vader, Arcann, Caedus, all tooling him with the force

Beniboybling
Darth Krayt or higher.

EDIT: Although in regards to your calculations, you also need to account for the further growth the Sith experiences after beating their master e.g. Plagueis upon killing Tenebrous was not nearly as powerful as he was when TPM Palpatine killed him, and there is a notable disparity between TPM Palpatine and ROTJ Palpatine.

So its more like 7 or 8 times. smile

hutchy1345
By that logic the sith and jedi of bane's day must have been bugs compared to any other rule of two sith
And also by that logic darth tenebrous should be way more powerful that you say he is

Nephthys
Yes.... "logic".

They were, lol.

NewGuy01
In a sense, they were, but that logic is absolutely retarded.

hutchy1345
I just don't think anyone in the banite line (except the obvious ones like sidious etc) are stronger than bane himself
I mean he has some insane feats

FreshestSlice
And you'd be wrong, because they are all stated to be higher than Bane, excluding Vader/Dooku/Maul, etc.

hutchy1345
Meh bane moved a moon

The logic is faulty based on that.

It's been a fact that the Banite Sith succeeded their predecessors in power all the way to Sidious since 1999. All Force & Destiny did was reaffirm a simple truth.

Darth Abonis
I think the Banite line was fluctuating constantly. It was waiting for a Sith, who truly was more powerful than all of them to be born and that Sith was Palpatine

To be fair, it's not always like the apprentices beats the master's prime in one v. one confrontation; Palpatine kills Plagueis in his sleep, Zannah basically gets lucky + a nexus, etc. Still, a 5% creep seems like a fairly conservative figure; the apprentice frequently does defeat the master in a fight and it ought be by a substantial enough margin for the line to progress continuously, and then the apprentice typically grows more powerful. 5% should encompass these requirements, and the stated fact that every apprentice was more powerful than the previous (presumably until Sidious).

Seeing as how most of them were bugs to Bane (lol), that's hardly difficult to believe. The PT Jedi were at their most powerful according to Lucas.

I think Tenebrous is >= Vader.

The Merchant
The Phantom Menace Scrapbook specifically says each Sith in the Rule of two is stronger than the previous one, you can interpret Gravids' destruction of Sith knowledge of them losing knowledge but didn't stop their growth in power, which is what seemed to be implied since Plaguies was wondering about the lost tech such as drain life.

SunRazer
Gravid destroyed some knowledge, but Gean still killed him in combat (despite the cybernetics she needed afterwards), so yes, the cycle continues. Given that Plagueis muses that they're about 30 generations of Sith Lords between Bane and Palpatine, and each generation is confirmed by multiple sources to be more powerful than the last, yes, Palpatine, Plagueis etc. are leagues above Bane.

The Ellimist
Bane dies.
