Pre Nu52. Orion is completely bloodlusted, and in his Astro harness.

Yeah that little Muslim Girl is gonna get totally destroyed by these two...

Counting Death of the New Gods, Superman was taken out twice. I say Orion has his way with them. the Adam twins get Astro Forced.

If Superman decides to remember he has super speed he'd own Orion right quick. One of these people is basically a bullet timer at best, the other is near lightspeed lol. Orion is naught but a speed bump if this team actually puts in conscious effort.

New Gods have super speed, though.

In the Kirby days, Mr. Miracle was blatantly using speed to get out of traps. While strapped down or chained up, he'd vanish just before he's hit, like he was teleporting.

And keep in mind Lightray is officially as fast as any energy being, with the feats to prove it. Orion's never struggled to keep up with him, and usually beaten him (Including tanking his nova blast level heat. Lightrays farted out suns fleeing Black Racer).

Either of the Marvels'd take a solo majority (6-7/10) so, duo 10/10.

God I hate agreeing with Abhi, But yeah. Lets remember the source itself was behind the killings trying to anger Scott enough so he would tap into the ALE so the siurce could use him to breach the barrier that kept him from his other half the Anti life entity. Added to which infinity man was also amped with the sources power as well.

Wait... Pretty sure that was Orion. In the very next issue he admitted to Scott Free and Superman that after answering Himon's(IM in disguise) distress call about Kalibak and Mantis, he left the scene right after. This was because he was supposedly more a "warrior" than a "detective" and "wanted to leave the mystery solving to those better for such work".

They have super speed yes but it comes in a variety of forms, not everyone has equal speed. Orion's best feats are like I said..bullet timing. With some other stuff with him moving faster then the eye can see. Impressive compared to a normal person yes, but nowhere near the feats of the two he is up against. Also Miracle Man's entire schtick is getting out of traps so I'm not sure why you'd bring up his feats in regards to Orion.

Basically this is a stomp for the duo.

He left the scene after "answering" Himon's distress call about Mantis's and Kalibak's invasion attempt. He went to the moon after. It wouldn't be hard for him to travel quickly since they use boom tubes. Plus some time passed since the story continued as Superman was waking up from the explosion.

Eh, it was the same blast which killed Mantis and Kalibak and left a trail of astro force to the moon where Orion was standing for quite some time. It was a perfect set up by Infinity Man.

Anyway, Superman was already damn near unconscious by an amped Kalibak's suckershot.

It didn't kill Mantis and Kalibak. Only explanation was Himon(Infinity Man) must've plucked their hearts(souls) out while they were still unconscious. He used Orion as a means of distraction and later confusion as to who the real killer was.
