... doesn't his suit give him enhanced attributes and optic blasts, among other stuff?

Definitely Black Manta, his eye beam makes this fight easy.

And that 0.5 km starting distance means Manta can relax and aim...

This match up makes total sense.

These characters are so very much alike and are totally comparable in powers.

When Marvel and DC had their cross-overs, I always wondered as a kid why Black Manta and Kingpin never met.

These are two rival pitbulls that have been angrily staring at each other through separate cages for a long time.

Yeah, lately, Manta hasn't looked that impressive. Deathstroke beat him and he looked rather weak in the Suicide Squad book.

Manta just had a tussle with Aquaman and looked the better, but he hardly used his eye beams. Basically, this would be a HTH fight, since he hardly uses them.

Keep in mind the writer ignored Manta's gear for the most part and had Manta fighting Slade h2h which I'd admit Manta wouldn't win. I don't see Slade fairing to well against the Optic Blast.

Opposite sides of the same coin. I'm betting the next Marvel/D.C. crossover will feature these two prized combatants.

I'm going Black Manta. Even though I always thought he looked like an ass with that helmet. Makes me almost not take him seriously.
