Trying to remember what a movie is where it culminates with the main characters (maybe a family) being chased by monsters? to an underground lab with them locking themselves in. They can see the monsters through a window which must be bullet proof? the main character tells the others to crawl out through the vent and then the man blows himself and the 'monsters' up. I think it ends there. I can't remember any of the actors although I'm sure it's got well known ones and it was a popular movie. It's probably at least 15 years old. Thanks in advance if you can help.
