Krona as seen in War of the Green Lanterns vs Galactus (Fed on one planet).

Who wins?

Galan007
Krona /w/ the Entities stomps, no contest.

abhilegend
Without the entities?

Galan007
Galactus, imo.

I believe it was Krona's specific knowledge of how to restrain/control the Entities that allowed him to do so(that was his original role as a Guardian, after all.) I never got the sense that he was able to just outright overpower them into submission or w/e... Especially given that singular Entities are able to give Spectre himself a good fight. /shrug

But he did overpower the entities.

Zack M
Krona.

I wrote Bran a letter and he said that Galactus would win.

Did he also say Spectre loses somehow?

But he did overpower the entities. Krona had knowledge of how to 'chain' the Entities with constructs in such a way that they immediately became docile and followed his commands. I believe *that* is how he did what he did...

That knowledge stemmed from the fact that he was the original keeper of all the Entities billionS of years ago:

So he clearly knew how best to restrain them.

He was also the being who originally designed and built the Lanterns which contained the Entities for eons:

He also discovered the pocket dimension that some of the Lanterns hide their Batteries in, and knew how to casually access it:

All of the above is why Hal stated that Krona has more knowledge and power than the other Guardians:

That's why all Krona had to do was use constructs to chain the Entities(after he exorcised them from their hosts), and *poof*, they instantly became docile and obeyed his commands:

The entities typically don't obey anyone without a fight... Not even Spectre himself. We saw this during his extended battle with The Butcher:

Conversely, all Krona had to do was use his chain-constructs against The Butcher, and *poof*, it instantly became docile and obeyed his commands:

...Which is why I don't believe he 'overpowered' the Entities in the typical sense.

It's all up to personal interpretation, though. You obviously believe he *did* outright overpower them, and you're more than welcome to that opinion. I disagree, though.

But Spectre drew out the Butcher entity out of its host forcefully.

And I'm not seeing how Krona overpowering the entities via his power is him not overpowering something. He ripped the entities out of their hosts.

He ripped out the Ion entity from Sodam just like that too.

We just had this debate not long ago, so there's no reason to get into it beyond this...

Krona was the previous keeper of the Entities. His knowledge of how to contain/control them was unprecedented. After he simply 'chained' the Entities, for example, they immediately went docile and obeyed his every whim. It's like they were trained dogs on leashes... Dogs that he trained billions of years ago to heed his commands. Not even Spectre himself was capable of making the Entities become obedient like that. He had to forcibly restrain/subdue them, so that they could be forcibly stuffed back into their Lanterns.

That knowledge is also why/how Krona was able to 'lock' the rings of every spectrum, and make them ALL 'choose' him(even after their true owners had already been located):
http://i.imgur.com/mQd1dqj.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/6whV7sP.jpg

Ganthet, for example, certainly wasn't capable of preforming the same type of feats, despite the fact that he should have been roughly as powerful as Krona. That alone is indicative of a HUGE knowledge-differential between Krona and the other Guardians... And that uber-as-f*ck knowledge is primarily *why* he was able to so casually harness the rings/Entities (again), imo.

But like I said: there's no need to get back into this side of the debate. Obviously our stances are not going to change, and circular arguments are a bore. That said, I will agree to disagree here. thumb up

Nope. I'm right and you are wrong.
