Who would make the better Green Lantern?

Interesting question.

I dont see Storm's weather manip adding much to a GL power set, though it'd be interesting to see if writers suddenly had her whipping up "energy storms" with green lightning.

Cyclops' visuals would be interesting under the right artist. Under the wring one, seeing constructs flying out of his face could be pretty ridiculous though.

DD using a GL ring to expand his senses to a more "cosmic" level might actually be pretty effective, esoecially if he chose to amp himself for physical battle. We might finally get an answer to how strong/fast a GL can be.

Cyclops just has this crazy evil willpower about him though. He'd probably be the best here.

I mostly just consider him an ass hole, but i see your point, Dawg. All three can actually lay claim to having strong wills.
I think DD may have the edge, overcoming a greater disability than Cyclops, and being the one most focused on physical combat.
Plus he's been broken and built himself back up more than the other two.

Yeah but Cyclops and his need to just be an arrogant dick is going to let him surpass Daredevil and he'll probably also make fun of his blindness too.

That arrogance worked for Sinestro, too, but didnt make him better than Hal.

They should come up with a group called "Green Manterns" where it's only male lanterns and they are misogynistic tools and Cyclops could be their leader.

To get into the group you don't just need to be male, you need to have at least one of your gf's die. Whether or not she came back from that death is irrelevant, but a dead lover is a must. Preferably you made out with another woman on the grave of your dead lover.

Cyclops even before Marvel turned him into an arrogant dick had pretty impressive willpower. He'd be a solid GL.

I wasn't necessarily saying Cyclops himself behaved that way, but he'd just still be a great Green Mantern. They gotta be misogynistic if they are named Manterns.

Daredevil would make a cooler GL.

clopa would be a better one. I could see him using his constructs and his mutant ability together better

In terms of willpower, far as I know only one of them beat Purple Man.

Only one of them survived having Apocalypse in his mind.

Storm isn't a good Lantern because if she has to put a shield or bubble around herself she gets claustrophobic and loses concentration, then it is all over for her eg. when flying in the vacuum of space or being attacked.

Daredevil might not be a good lantern because he is blind and his radar senses may not pick up energy constructs very well. His constructs would be all over the place and he would be banging his head and tripping over them. We've all seen the ownage scans where Hal is constantly knocking himself out - this would be far worse IMO.

That leaves Cyclops who has the whole evil douche thing going, and the makings of another Sinestro. Sinestro does pretty well, so Cyclops probably wins this.

How about DD with a Red Ring? Or Yellow Ring

I think DD will be best in the blue ring or the green. his will is his strongest emotion I think over fear or rage. tho he can rage.

I just said clops over DD because I think he could probably make more imaginative constructs

Cyclops probably does best if he turns yellow like Sinestro.

But his character change was very well done IMO
