Death, Eternity, Galactus, Order, Chaos, Celestials, Love, Hate, Kronos, Eon, and the Stranger couldn't phase out. The Basanos won't either.

They nearly killed Lucifer at the peak of his powers during the series*, when he was at a level where he casually tanked the entirety of God's demiurgic energies and immediately warped them into his multiverse.

* Note that while Lucifer was at the peak during his series, he was not 100%. He was only 100% prior to the events of Sandman when he cut off his wings

Their power is basically plot power. Anything that can happen, they can manipulate to happen. Logically if the gauntlet could be separated from Thanos, they could make it happen. Of course, the Lucifer series was more abstract-y in nature than that, so they didn't do stuff like that at all. But they ought to be able to.

They didn't. Lucifer almost killed himself when he lost control of his power because the balance of it was shifted when two feathers were removed from his wings. They planned it, but they didn't overpower him like you imply.

If what he says is true then the powers of the Basanos were the ones that were exaggerated, not Lucifers.

I think that quanchi was calling the Lucifer example an exaggeration, not Lucifer's power.

Tbh you would think that the Basanos who can force different realities/outcomes into effect would be able to conjure up one where the glove slips off Thanos' hands?
