Trident absorbs energy, probable TP win as well.

Zzzax can mess with minds too as in electrical impulses and has TP ever been tryed on Zzzax.

I'd probably have to see how exactly he messes with minds. If it hasn't been tried I'd fail to see how that's any reason to suggest it wouldn't work. Resistance to something isn't preset, it has to be shown.
