Sorcery:
Completely overwhelmed Master Luke Skywalker in a 'titanic clash' with dark tendrils.

Alchemy:
Created the Dark Reaper.

The Dark Reaper was created in the Great Hyperspace War. Also, I'm pretty sure destroying Nadd is his best feat with Force Blast.

Agreed with the rest, though.

JVSS suggests the Dark Reaper was uncovered by Exar Kun, other more numerous sources state he created it himself.

Any quotes? KotORCG claims it was created during the Great Hyperspace War. I also recall sources claiming that Kun rediscovered it or something.

Exar Kun had also constructed a Sith superweapon, the Dark Reaper, that was capable of drawing in the life energies of thousands of combatants. Ulic unleashed the Dark Reaper against hundreds of Republic troops on the outpost of Raxus Prime.

Out of personal preference? Yeah.

There's no reason to. It's written by in-universe historians, whereas, IIRC, KotORCG is just an objective source. And KotORCG comes after, so it's a retcon.

Why? The New Essential Chronology is both older and in-universe.
