Could Snoke have once been a Jedi that fell to the dark side at some point? This video is pretty interesting and would make sense.

I wonder what will happen to that video when Ep. 8 comes out. And all the other videos and articles that theorize the origin of Star Wars characters. Do you think it'll be taken down when it turns out that Snoke is a pretty uninteresting villain that Abrams' successors botched?

They should delay Episode 8 for another year so we can get a hundred thousand more theories on who Rey and Snoke are.

As far as the theory goes it makes pretty good sense for Snoke to have been a Jedi at some point, perhaps going missing during the Clone Wars. Or maybe he was an old Jedi collegue of Dooku.
