Vision hand to braining someone isnt out of the norm.
Neither is dropping on someone at full density.
Or staying intangible and attacking from a distance.

Pretty sure that "spell" was flowery language, in that he redirected to missile's course with his strength/power of flight once he fuzed the innards, but you're other evidence is fairly compelling.
