Name some movies you wished they would make, it can be movies based on books, comics , or even maybe a remake of one of your old favorites?

Here are some of mine:

- a movie based on the comic "Sgt. Rock"- it has been rumored many times to be made.

-a movie based on the book " I am Legend" - although "OmegaMan" with Chuck Heston was loosely based on it, I want one that really sticks to the book!

-a movie on the comic "GhostRider"

- one based on cartoon Speedracer

There actually in talks to make a ghost rider maybe Nicols Cage to play the character of ghost rider I think the name was Johnny Blaze.

yeah I heard that about Ghostrider, I hope they dont pick Cage! I like him as an actor just not for that role!

There have also been rumors about SPeedracer with Johnny Depp attached to the role of SPeed. Funny too, Nick Cage was in talks to be Racer X.

Also, there is a series of books, 7 I think, made by Lloyd Alexander. He wrote some good books. The series including the Black Cauldron would make a great film.

Surely you know about Star Trek? I am a lifelong fan of the original series and movies. They ruined the franchise when they killed off Captain Kirk in "Star Trek Generations". So I am waiting for them to come up with a way to bring Kirk back. Probably will never happen but I can be unusually patient with these things.

I have hoped and prayed for a movie to be made from the Enders Game series, those books friggin rule. The best thing possible would be an entire CGI flick, so you wouldnt have to have crappy child actors......

I wish they would redo the Charonicles of Narnia series into an animated or real life film. It would be awsome to see. Or even redo The Neverending Story.

If there is one movie i would definitley want to see is The legend of Zelda: Ocorina of time. That game has an amazing story.

a movie i would like to see is one taken from a very old tv series. night rider was the series and i would love them to make a movie out of it.

How about Voltron and Thundercats. Transformers will be great. Of course a good He-Man movie would be nice to. The Masters of the Universe sucked. As far as movies bassed on books you would have to have the DragonLance Trilogy.

alien cyborg women lead by a talking pie. the alien cyborg women come from the dark side of the moon. and the pie was zapped by "the weapon" that the cyborg women used... when the weapon hit the atmosphere of earth it concentrated into a thin but infinitly dense beam of a new unknown force that hit the pie and gave it life. the pie becomes their leader because he wins a civil suite. in the end the pie falls in love with the former leader of the cyborg women and they retreat to canada...
i think i'd like this because it has alien women and talking pies. and who doesn't love a talking pie?

Don't know if this has been said, bit yesterday I played Devil may cry and Vampire hunter and i think they would be cool movies! Well I only played for a little but really liked them! Specially Devil may cry, that character would kick butt!

Yes they are making a Transformers movie not in crappy cartoon style. It is going to be a live action movie with just CGI Transformers(Not all CGI).

Here's a couple of ideas... I would love to see someone make a series of movies based on the Patricia Cornwell 'Scarpetta' novels and after just finishing a book called The Straw Men by Michael Marshall it feels ripe for the hollywood treatment (albeit with some intelligent casting for change)

Yeh. In the 1st movie they killed a great cast in the 1st 10m! It was so promising till then!

Till today i could not understand why the killed off the cast like that. Sometimes hollywood just wrecks some great scripts.

I didn't like the adaptation of The Avengers very much either : R.Fiennes was Good...but what they have done with the Emma Peel Character is awful. And the 60's-like baddies are ridiculous...

Well the avengers i saw where with miss king or something like that so i cant really say anything about peel.

I never even saw the avengers, i heard it was such crap even though it had connery in it too!

well the series where cool. and the movie follows the same comedi the series did. i liked it!

The spirit of the series has been copied, but was not as well as the original...lack of lightness and humour...this movie was too dark

I thought it had the humor. Maybe dark is but twisted , wierd and that wierd sence of humor loki the series!

I didn't say that it has no humour at all(the scene where Steed meet Peel in the Hammam), I said not as much as the series.

Ps: I'm a TV series Fan ! That's why I was disappointed by Mission: Impossible & The avengers

There are a lot of things that would make cool movies (but sometimes I'm not so sure they should be, since half the time they screw it up.)

Here are a few.

Chrono Trigger: The 1995 Squaresoft RPG is my personal favorite game, and story ever, and I'd like to see it made into an ANIME movie, in Japan and then released into america (you know if America made it, it would be shit.). I'm kind of scared they would mess it up though.

American Gods: By Neil Gaiman, this book is damn cool, and it would also make a cool movie in my opinion.

A few of HP Lovecrafts stories: I know they made several of them already, but most of them were Low-budget (haven't seen Herbert West yet, but since I didn't hear about it before I started liking Lovecraft, I'm sure it wasn't that great.). If someone made The Case of Charles Dexter Ward into a movie, a GOOD movie, it would be worth it.

I would love to see an historically accurate movie about Russia's female fighter and bomber pilots during World War II. For the curious look up "nachthexen" or "night witches". It's what the night bomber units were called by the Germans. Or read Reina Pennington's book "Wings, Women, and War."

If you like science fantasy - dragon meets modern technology sort of thing then Ann Mcafreys Pern books would make some excellent films!

An Ace Ventura 3 would be cool.

Final Fantasy movie based on Final fantasy 3. With Yoshitaka amanos art but in CG. Metroid, Diablo, WarCraft and SouKaiGi(The squaresoft published RPG by Yukes, same company who makes smackdown games now).

Alien was fine with sigourney weaver. The movie sucked ever since 3. It wasnt her fault they got too carried away with the storyline.

I was in love with the TV Show Dark Angel and I wish that they would make a movie about it. That is really how they started the show. She why not end the show the same way. And in this movie they should end it with all her brothers and Sisters are free and ok at last. It would be the perfect ending. Like what they really always wanted to be free. I think that it would be really cool and also I know that I have heard from a lot of people that they liked the Dark Angel's Series and like a million men all over the USA are in love with Jessica Alba!

hey it was sigourney weavers fault the movies went downhill the way they did in the alien franchise, she said the only way she would star in alien3 was if she had part script rights, Hicks wasnt going to have dies in alien three and it was going to shadow the earth war from the comics but the war was already going to have happend when they crashed, she demanded script options in resurection aswell so yeah it was her fault arghhhhhhh i hate her if only the protona packs were real in ghostbusters and then maybe she could have wandered off in front of them while they were firing and be vaporized i mean do we really need another heartbrekers movie

Failing that Flight of dragons, but the animated version's pretty cool anyway, and there hasn't really been a good live-action dragon film.

So my final answer will have to be the Chronicles of Narnia, at least the ones that haven't been made already like The magician's Nephew.

There's a Stephen Lawhead trilogy called "The Song of Albion" that would make a really good film.

LotR's was a huge film, and Hollywood brought up all the rites to all the big non fiction books to cash in on it, i.e. most notably Warner Brothers & The Harry Potter franchise (aside from LotR), one of the others on the 'hit list was' The Chornicles of Narnia franchise there was an article on a major website a few months back suggesting the rumours of a film creation are more then just fiction.

i wish they mad any movie starring me im still working on it though lol you will see me on the big screen one day!!!
