ghostman
what are the top 5 best feats of PURE telekinesis?

1. in comics

2.in all of fiction

Zack M
Grace's (From JLA) taking apart that armada is definitely top 3.

8swords
Cable?

"Id"
Mad Jim Jaspers.

It explains why his power is restricted to manpulating, and not creating.

Surfer throwing a moon at Galactus is up there too

abhilegend
Not telekinesis.

Genii96
So did he 'surf' it?

Cogito
Superman 1M slowing a charging galaxy with his force vision, and stopping it cold with the help of Titano.

Supermutant
I like these from Grifter, not the best but pretty cool especially with the guns.

The blue shift I think it was, based on what I read, would mean it was going at least at a good chunk of lightspeed, I think though it would have been going FTL considering the distance crossed. So insane.

Surtur
I forget which specific characters, but we've had characters who claimed they were using pure telekinesis in order to actually warp reality.

carver9
Telekinesis is one of the most hax abilities in comics. Gives you super strength, high end durability, fight, object moving, and the list goes on.

Stoic
I thought Nu Superboy had one, but from the list that I saw above, I'm thinking that it was small change in comparison. Just thought that it was worth mentioning.

Galan007
-Vader force-choking Xizor from half the galaxy away.
-Palpatine doing the same thing to Dooku.

Yeah that's right, b*tches.... Star Wars. uhuh

That shouldn't count imo old friend.

That's Morrison symbolism in that scene concerning the "orphan universe" manifestation.

The Telekinetic "feat" the PF consciousness is referring to: (was performed right before that page)
is Jean removing Sublime from that reality, which in-turn dis-infected that reality,
it took Jean seven pages of prep while her friends died horrible death's to distract Sublime.
So ... it most certainly "wasn't as easy as it sounds, even for a WPotC" thumb up

In order to prevent that potential future from ever occurring in the first place, (her friends had died)
Jean went back in time (150 years) to the point where Scott made the decision to leave the X-Men,
(which is what created/diverged this alternate potential future reality in the first place)
Jean changed Scott's decision via mind rape, so he would stay with the X-Men,
this in-turn nullified this potential future reality (15014) from ever being, even potentially.

You don't need to conjure entire universe to travel back 150 years.

That would be a ridiculous hurdle when guys like Cable, Deathlok, Bishop, or DC's Flash & Booster Gold do that for lulz.

It was all symbolism at the end. The official HCT bio literally states this.

Nope.
The scan says it is the Univese, plucked from the Megasystems.

abhilegend
Psimon destroying a planet.

Genii96
Shaman Nate travelling betweens universes by opening the universal barriers via tk iirc

Delta1938
I wouldn't argue the best, but I was pretty damned impressed when Conner used his tactile telekinesis to contain Persuader's Atomic Axe to keep the Post-ZERO HOUR LofSH universe from collapsing. I don't recall the details(other than it had something to do with all the holes to other universes Persuader cut to turn the Fatal Five into the Fatal Five Hundred). As well as when he blasted off Black Lantern Kal-L's face.

Really? Captain Comet has done the same and no one paid much attention

Galan007
That's because Comet is a shit character, Mungi... If Alpha Flight fused into one person, you'd get Comet. That's how terrible he is.

One day you'll understand this truth as well. thumb up

that AND no one has ever seen comet's feat. but yeah, stopping time is a beastly feat imo. so show it mungi. he'll still suck, but at least the feat would be out there. thumb up

2) dunno It's funny, but this feat is really no different - worse even than New Gods just sitting on Apokalips or New Genesis and creating universes.

Both were in higher places to do it, only New Gods can do it just by sitting in their living room, and the most powerful Phoenix has to go into a special dimension that makes this possible.

Is this feat really that great, and did it really need that much controversy surrounding it for years?

His TK shielding against a mega amped Ominar Synn who was casually wrecking GLs in the same ark wasnt bad either.Especially when you consider that OS in a weaker state casually prooelled Black adam from Thanagar out past its moon.

leonidas
rachel creating a black hole is pretty awesome...

operator616
Starfox also once manipulated a time vortex back when he had some minor TK powers....

A true gargantuan TK feat that i recall is for the mind gem. When moondragon was able to transport thousands of planets to their rightful places after they've been displaced by the great one. She needed an amp from a red sun i believe, but it's still impressive.

Also, golden age fate, pre-depowerment, shoved a planet into a sun. A GL foe once also casually displaced the sun with TK around that era.

Galactus/Other fight comes to mind considering they were throwing planets at each other.

I'm not sure if that is a tk feat though. I remember it from the infinity gauntlet arc but I don't think it was clarified how the celestials were doing that. They had those planets lined up like people will be waiting for the new Infinity war movie.

Jean enters hyperspace, flies into a white hole that was tearing time/space, stays there comfortably while using her TP and blocking a blast.

Theoretically, it should be impossible for matter to enter a white hole at all, not to mention withstanding it casually once inside. Astrophysics nerds, feel free to correct or add to that.

I know it's technically her shields/flight, but the implications for Jean's TK should be huge.

I don't know if this counts, given it's not SPECIFICALLY tk, but Magneto sensing and grabbing the planet-destroying bullet + Kitty from light-years away, hurling it back to Earth, stopping its momentum entirely, separating Kitty and disintegrating it has to be up there, as long as we don't go into higher levels of power.

leonidas
lol that was an great feat for mags. thumb up
