Evidently DC Comics and BOOM Studios are teaming up for 2 upcoming crossover events...

Thoughts?

I'd read, but with no expectations.
What's with the GL one saying "in stores February 2016" Someone forget to proofread?
Galan007
Good catch.
abhilegend
And why is John Stewart on League?
Galan007
Probably because there's also a black character on the Power Rangers' lineup.
Galan007
*Edit
Totally forgot Cyborg was there as well. In that case I'm not really sure why they'd include John on the League's roster. srug
Regardless, that is a pretty damn powerful version of the League, tbh... Kind of curious what type of threat they'll face in the crossover. mmm

Odd crossovers indeed.
PRangers will stomp Superdouche. Can't wait

i find these types of things fun. they have the desired affect on me in the sense that i would never read pota or pr on their own, but i'd def read these xovers. i also very much enjoyed the gl/star trek series though, so, meh. i'm a bit of a suckers for this type of thing.
StyleTime
They are odd choices, but Tom Taylor is writing the Justice League/Power Rangers crossover. His work on Injustice was pretty cool, so maybe it'll be fun.

Superman is the Red Ranger, is what I gathered from skimming this thread. Cool development. Might actually give him a personality.

My junk didn't even wiggle at the choice of crossover partners, though. I'm usually a sucker for these things, but will pass on these two.

Doesn't Batman become a Power Ranger and proceed to beat up everyone??

So, I guess the Hanna Barbera universe is apart of the DC Multiverse???
Galan007
"Following the events of the DEATH OF HAWKMAN miniseries, Adam Strange is blasted through multiple dimensions only to land on Earth! But instead of super powered beings and legendary crime fighters, he encounters a boy adventurer and his scientist father - and they're the only ones who can help him return home..."
So yeah, the Hanna-Barbera-verse is evidently one of the infinite universes/dimensions within the larger DC multiverse/omniverse.

So, first it's He-Man, then Watchmen, now Hanna Barbera.

DC is assimilating everything... resistance is futile

Adam Strange / Johnny Quest piqued my interest.
I do like the general idea of such goofy crossovers. Even the more serious attempts like with Watchmen. It's ambitious, even if the tone and execution is difficult to pull off.
