I actually skipped my favorite one this year: Die Hard.

Instead did the following:

1. Die Hard 2: Die Harder
2. Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance
3. Krampus
4. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - first time seeing it, brilliant. 2nd favorite Christmas movie now.
5. Gremlins
6. Rabid (1977) - obscure, but it actually does have Santa Clause getting shot up, laughing out loud
7. Con Air - a new honorary Christmas movie

Con Air is a new personal honorary Christmas movie because I put Nicolas Cage at the top of my Christmas tree. laughing out loud

I refuse to ever watch A Christmas Story. It looks awful. That kid looks fu#king obnoxious. sick

Also watched Die Hard 4 Live Free or Die Hard, but it's not a Christmas movie and it's a terrible POS. I hate that one. I don't even consider it a Die Hard movie, doesn't feel like one.

Kazenji
Die Hard 4 is good movie from that franchise, Its the 5th movie that wasn't great.

Patient_Leech
Yes, the 5th blows. I hate the 4th, too, though.

riv6672
Die Hard 3 isnt a Christmas movie.

Ascendancy
Home Alone and A Christmas Story. That was it, but I may catch some others OnDemand.

marwash22
the best xmas movie of all time... 'Jingle All the Way'.

i watched in Last month though. didn't watch any Christmas movies on the actual day.

Ascendancy
Ah, forgot about Jingle

"This is a sick world we're livin' in... sick!" Love that movie.

TheVaultDweller
Closest I came to watching a Christmas movie this year was watching the Christmas episodes of various tv shows.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it has Christmas references and it's related to the first Die Hard, which is undeniably a Christmas movie. So to me that more than counts.

Nothing wrong with that. I forgot I did watch a Christmas episode of South Park..

Flyattractor
I guess I watched Batman Returns this month so I guess that could count as well.

riv6672
Then you're an idiot. And entitled to be so.

John Murdoch
Didn't watch any, but my top five are as follows:

1) Die Hard
2) Batman Returns
3) Lethal Weapon (I did watch the Christmas episode of the TV show)
4) Christmas Vacation

Watched it with other people, but Love Actually is actually a good movie and I'm someone who usually finds Hugh Grant to be annoying. Check it out if you haven't.

Die Hard
Home Alone
Its a wonderful life

Actually i was in a very good mood when i called you an idiot.
Still am.

When DHWaV premiered, it was reviewed as ending the trilogy (when it was a trilogy) by changing the "set in one place set on Christmas" formula.
So, if you want to disagree with the industry's active movie reviewers circa 1995, you're entitled to do so, idiotic as that is. smile

cdtm
Galaxy Quest (Came out Christmas 1999. If Die Hard counts, so does this.)

Scrooged. (Best adaptation ever.)

Krampus (Awful.)

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (Disney version, where they edit out "I had a lot of help from Johnny Walker" to just "I had a lot of help".)

Christmas With the Kranks... 10 minutes of it then *click*.

The Santa Clause. (Love this movie!)

KingD19
Almost Christmas - The typical "black family gets together for Christmas and shenanigans ensue" type film, but it was hilarious.

Office Christmas Party - Imagine Project X but for adults.

Surtur
Bad Santa.
