No gear or underarmor for Bats. No suit, period.

So I guess this is really Bruce against Batroc.

Digi
Epic typo. Didn't know he needed such a nerf to be a good match for bats.

cdtm
That's what I get for using the mic to type.

You could imagine what using the mic in my fancy new tv remote brings up when I look for "Hardcore Pawn"..

random letters
I don't see Batroc winning unless he gets Jesus to cure him.

Unless he infects Batman. Guess that counts as a tie.

BruceSkywalker
batroc leaps, bruce sidesteps and punches him for tko.. the end

This would actually be a competitive fight that could last for about 5-10 minutes, which is an eternity when skill is considered. There won't be any one shots when Batroc was able to give Captain America a very good fight. All the same, Batman wins but he's going to have his hands full.

Yeah, this is right.

I could see Batroc being a good Bat foe, actually. He's fairly cheesy, and is skilled enough, that like Cap, Bats would come to enjoy their fights.

DarkSaint85
Where's that scan of a pissed off Wonder Woman besting a sick, armoreless Batman, and failing to do damage...

riv6672
Well if she bested him...

DarkSaint85
Sorry, typo.

Meant to say beating on him.

She was smashing his face through concrete etc.

riv6672
Owtch.

So, Batman's face = Cap's shield.

DarkSaint85
Yeah I can't seem to post on my phone, so may add it later.

Doesn't add much more, except to show Bruce was still conscious and fully capable of moving and using tactics like normal.

Since then, of course, the dionesium in him has made him stronger, faster and more durable.

I haven't kept up with Batman. Just heard he's consistently treated superhuman despite being human. I assume this was before the "dionesium" thing you're referring to, so I guess he was officially made superhuman?

DarkSaint85
Lol, nope.

According to Alfred, who examined him, the dionyseium (or however its spelled) healed all of his previously broken bones, removed scar tissues etc, so that he was in tip top condition, as if he was brand new. Hence, according to Alfred, he was now stronger and faster than ever.

But still only human, officially.

laughing Comics.

StiltmanFTW
Similar thing has happened to the Punisher, but he needed to recreate his muscle memory and stuff like that. Not sure if that's the case with Batsy.

Are you saying that Batman would take no damage from someone in his own weight class? If so, why is it that Grayson was able to give him a fight? Actually, why do any of the characters below super human stats ever give him a fight? Could he be holding his durability in check like Superman always holds back? Or what is it that you're trying to say in your statement, because I don't get it?

Subsequent to this showing, Alfred had this to say:

'Fastest and strongest Batman ever.'

And no, Stilt, no muscle memory issues.

Stoic
So according to those two scans I'm guessing that you're saying that Batman is above peak human. If I were you, I'd wait for this little buff to wear off. Seems like DC wants Batman to be at least on par with Midnighter, because as it stood, he probably would have been able to crush him. Still thinking that Batroc would give him a decent fight.

DarkSaint85
He was doing that BEFORE the dionesium.

So BEFORE the 'buff'.

DarkSaint85
This is also BEFORE the buff. Without his armour. Note the guy he's fighting, Lincoln, is strong enough to twist metal poles like paper:

Yeah and as soon things get out of control, they'll once again bump him back down to elite ninja level.

Truth. But it's not just DC. It's any popular street level character. The comic companies have to make them relevant in a world populated by beings that can destroy cities and lift mountains.

Making someone that occasionally has trouble dodging bullets and taking down low metas suddenly move faster than light and break buildings with their fists is ridiculous.

The whole point of them being powerless is that they have to find a way to win other than just using their f*cking fists. Just look at john constantine; he's one of the least powerful magic users in comics but he's awesome because he can always outsmart or con his enemy.

riv6672
Constantine USED to be that way. Now he's some sort of universal power, completely missing the point of the character.

Zack M
Read the current series. He's not the way he was during Justice League Dark.
