Well, the Champion had real trouble being able to KO Thing (granted he did beat Colossus and Sasquatch before fighting Thing), and Kurse at his weakest is twice as powerful as Thor and was handling him pretty solidly, so Id side with Kurse to win more than not.

A well written Champion s!! stomps Kurse, he's bigger, stronger, faster and can amp via power primordial

I'm pretty sure Kurse started weaker then Thor that who the Beyonder had to increase Kurse's strength double of that of Thor.

Well originally Kurse was a dark elf, the Beyonder then made him Kurse, twice as powerful as Thor. Beta Ray Bill (Kurse mistakjng him for Thor) was getting pounded on, then Thor arrived with his the Belt Of Strength and evened their power, to which the Beyonder than re-doubled Kurses power. So Im taking that this is the standard twice Thor power level Kurse here.

The fight with Thing is impressive for Thing but Thing took a flying sucker punch from Gladiator then being flung multiple stories then dropped mutiple stories and at last having a bus slammed on him, even then he got up a little bit later fine.
