Blade's taken on tougher, faster, more skilled, and more powerful opponents. Plus Red isn't Adamantium odachi proof.

Voting for Hellboy. Older and more experianced. Plus the Big Red Right Hand is more then a match for the sword.

Blade is older by far. He was born in 1929, meaning that in 1954 he was Twenty-Five. Hellboy was Ten in 1954, meaning in 1944 he was born. He just ages different as at Two, he appeared between 6-10, and at 10, he aged to full physical maturity.

So Blade was fighting vampires and other monsters since at least his early-mid teens. So in 1944, he was 15. Giving him years of experience on Hellboy and meaning he's been fighting and killing things that go bump in the night since Hellboy was born; possibly before. He's also fought bigger baddies and has way more variety. He's got guns, magic, an indestructible sword, and is fast enough to outfight a Speedster made even faster by her vampiric transformation.

As for the RHoD, it's nothing Blade hasn't faced before. He can just block anything he can't dodge, which won't be much. In fact I'm pretty sure it's not the strongest thing Blade has ever been hit by or tanked.

Red gets gutted after a decent fight, but he gets gutted nonetheless.

No. Hellboy ARRIVED on Earth in 1944. He was born in HELL some centuires earlier. And Blade only fights Vamps. Hellboy has fought SEVERAL other Creatures.

Hellboy takes this.

Yeah, he was born in 1617. And he stayed an infant the entire time as Azzael hid him away deep in Hell when his actions were discovered by the other Hell Lords. He was still a baby when the Professor found him during WW2. So remind me what all experiences he's had up until that point. Because it's clearly documented that the Professor raised him from infancy until he was 10 and fully grown.

Blade has fought more than Vampires, they're just his main focus. He even had magic to take down a portion of Shuma-Gorath, a guy the Orgu Jahad look up to.

How's Red gonna win though? Any experience he has(which isn't more than Blade's) will be negated by Blade's speed, skill, brutality, durability, healing factor, weapons, etc...

Blade is tailor made to take down guys like HB, who can only take a beating and shoot his gun. If anything Blade could chop the Doom hand off, as Red's not blade proof and that's how he got it in the first place.

Yeesh Marvel Continuity is fhucking convoluted.

F-it. Hellboy still takes this.

Hellboy is Dark Horse Comicsverse.

And no, he doesn't. Blade has beaten far worse than him. Red is actually the one-dimensional type of guy Blade is best against.

Thanks for your posts, KingD19.
Not sure what the age point is, or why it matters, since i'm only reading your side of things, but again, thanks.

Flyattractor said he was backing Hellboy because he was older and more experienced than Blade. I pointed out how Blade was fighting vampires and monsters since at least the same year Hellboy was "born" on Earth and was raised by the Professor from a little red monkey baby demon. Giving him a significant experience gap on Red.

Ah.
Well, this thread turned to shit. Thanks, though, K. thumb up

Vanguard
Blade

DarkSaint85
Blade. Hellboy is great, but his opponents are mainly slower than him. When faster, his damage soak keeps him in the game, but they aren't Blade level.

Bentley
Blade for the majority, Hellboy would need a lucky hit to get the drop on him.
