how far does he make it?

Surfer should be first.

God, this is tough. My full thought process is a bit lengthy, so I'll withhold it unless there's additional discussion. But imo he beats Wonderman, could probably split with Jack. Then it's trouble. Magneto beats him pretty clearly (again, imo). Given his telepathy skill, he might be a matchup problem for Stewart but any competent GL (like Stewart) has more overall power. Terrax and, more obviously, Surfer obliterate him.

Legends or canon? If Legends, can Luke go into Oneness?

Anyway, I actually think he has a better chance against John than Magneto. But we agree on the rough place he stops.

No. But he could just straight-up overpower him. Luke's most haxx feats are somewhat contextual, and while Legends Luke has more powers than MegaMan on the final stage, he's not going to be able to bring anything to bear on a moment's notice that could compete with just a relentless power cosmic assault.

Seriously, even with his best, comics are equally crazy with high-end feats. Luke would unquestionably be high meta and nothing higher if it weren't for like 1-2 crazy feats that could likely be interpreted multiple ways. He's versatile as hell, so he presents matchup problems for some above him. But that's about it. Anything more is stretching hard imo.

The force is an universal energy field force-users tap into, not an internal power source.

Thus, no draining.

But yeah, probably stops at Magneto or John. nah the force can be drained from people. Force drain is actually a dark side technique used by many, and Luke himself has been drained before.

Imho luke could possibly take magneto or stewart, but has no chance against either terrax or ss.

He isnt' beating any of these people, unless he can mindphuck Simon or Jack.

He has tk shileds powerful enough to protect himself and others from the warp core of a freighter exploding point blank in his face.

Also being able to immobilize Abeloth with tk.

She is the mother to the Father, son and daughter of mortis, and more powerful than the son and daughter combined, being able to subjugate the two of them to her will. Out of fear of her, the father took his children and fled the planet. Abeloth then proceeded to bend the entire planet to her will, turning a lush jungle world into a horrific nightmare planet, where every living thing on the planet from the animals to the man eating plants obeyed her mental commands. (picture poison ivy on a planetary scale.)

She was so powerful that the son and daughter had to mentally enslave entire races of beings and force them to build a machine capable of moving celestial bodies around the galaxy. Then used the machine to move black holes from around the galaxy to build a prison for her out of said black holes. And they had to keep doing things like this every couple hundred/thousand years because they could never contain her.

Upon her release a sith lord tried to mess with her mind and as a side effect of her rage she instantly melted the capitlal city of the planet they were on. And i mean the city and everything. Millions of people dead instantly, every building, vehical, etc... Completly melted into slag.

He also has a bunch of esoteric abilities that could help a bit. Such as shatterpoint. Its basically like karnaks ability to see the weakness in any person or object. It also extends to other things like seeing the weakness in a fighting style or strategic plan etc..

In addition to force lightning, luke has a variant called Emerald Judgement which looks like forks of lightning but instead of electrocuting it drains the energy out of a being.

Or something like Fold Space might come handy against Jon Stewart. This is a technique where Luke is able to fold space and time around an object of his choosing and teleport it.

Heres a quote of luke using fold space.

"Luke caught Tadar'ro's eye and smiled a little. Then, before Ben knew what was happenjng, there was a sharp pop of displaced air. The Vor'cha stick simply vanished form his hands to reappear in his fathers."

Could something like that work on jons ring? Maybe, but im sure there are people here far more knowledgeable on gl's and stewart than i that would know better.

He has a bunch of others ranging from being able to create complex illusions calable of fooling not only people but some of the most advanced scanners in the sw galaxy to having his spirit leave his body and fighting in sw version of the astral plane which they call beyond the shadows.

With that being said someone like ss is still out of his league, but its possible he could eek a win or two out of mags or jon.
