Space cheese is secondary to relative showings. Superman directly overpowers multiple above top tiers at once in multiple occasions.

You know what's even more impressive than him standing like that? The gravitational increase was an area effect not something that was targeting them individually, which means he not only stood under that infinite weight, he THREW his infinite weight hammer with enough speed/force to shatter that weapon.

Well technically it's not more impressive because infinity=infinity but you know what I mean.

And her hands are lifted above ground as well.

And the weapon was supposed to bury them deep under the planet at infinite gravity. None of them were even below the surface.

Look at the scans Abhi. Notice how Sif's entire body besides her arms and head are underground? That's because it straight up sunk her through the ground. She's not lifting her head, that's how she sunk. Not that it would have much mattered anyway.

Um yeah, I'll just cross check that with my handy physics to comics handbook. erm It is what it is. thumb up

Of course it does. At infinite gravity the weapon was stated to bury them in core of the planet.

They aren't even below surface.

Yes, a blatant silver age hyperbole.

Are you saying that once it "reaches" infinity it would be proven by them being in the core of the planet? That's the part about this that sticks out most to you 😅 that's a personal problem I'm afraid.

I dont know where you believe that infinite weight is demonstrated only by them sinking into the ground. It doesn't have to make sense, its comics. I suppose the book with infinite pages should have sunk Superman and Cap into the ground too?

Oh, enlighten me Abhiman.

The dialog specifically said that they will sink beneath the surface at infinite gravity.

They didn't hence it was not infinite gravity as per the dialog.

It's hilarious how only one part of the dialog is taken on face value and others are discarded. Originally posted by celeyhyga17

Abhi the scans are right there, no it doesn't. It says that their infinite weight will sink them in moments.

You seem to be reading it as if said "yes, and once you've sunken to the core your infinite weight will be complete. Because thats how this works you see."

Not that I'm sure why it seems to itch at you. Its just silver age hyperbole right?

Prof. T.C McAbe
Since it's just the statement of the Alien it could be hyperbole on it's part, as the narrator does not confirm it. I would still say that Thor lifted infinity, actually every morning when he lifts his infinitely heavy ass out of bed.

Philosophía
You'd have to be legitimately retarded to take that hyperbole statement to indicate infinite.

Sif doesn't have infinite/strength durability.

Damborg, don't go the carver way.

It contradicts the very thing said in the scene. I'm not dismissing it on some logic.

Exactly. Especially when we have Ultraman reading the last page.

By Ultima Thule which had infinite memory.

Is anybody claiming Thor is stronger than Superman though? That'd be a laugh.

TheHulk
Came in to this thread knowing a shit fest was going to go down.......thread and discussion isn't as bad lol

h1a8
The feat is clearly hyperbole. The tech was designed to get their ships to travel through space. Also the comic used the real science logic of being heavier will cause you to sink. The writer had some form of common sense.

h1a8
Anyway WBH and Sentry at his best are the only beings stronger.

You can't even make the case that it was near black hole level, let alone infinite. It seems that every few months Thor fans keep popping up with a 'feat', only for it to get debunked, then they go back into the shadow realm.

So people think that superman, CM and ultraman lifted infinite weight and thus must possess infinite strength??? Yet when Thor overcame that gravity, superman fans start crying hyperbole and try and dismiss any feat that poor little superman didn't do huh? Fun fact... None of them have infinite strength. Hulk is the closest. Live with it and stop crying because superman is not the best at everything.
