What if in current Marvel U there was only 14 superheroes who have super-powers and serve as protectors of planet Earth.. The 14 merged as a team to protect and serve the planet against any threat Earth may face.

Is this 14 heroes enough to keep the balance of good vs evil at bay or will they get overrun by the supervillians..

Remember Old Man Logan? Villains just need to organize and co-operate and they can stomp good guys with ease.

yeah this is like insects vs humans. and the team's not the bugs. though they do get squashed.

i mean honestly, i could name just FOURTEEN villains that could take them, let alone factoring in the 5000 others that would be gunning for them. /shrug

Well we can see how stretched the heroes are just with the Chitauri....and that's with some of the big guns already named here.

thanos was already wrecked himself--twice--by the ultimates, most of whom are in that line-up....
