~amazo CAN'T steal superboys powers. and no BFR.

So this is Amazo ala "JLA" v4 #22-24, correct?

Imo, his biggest guns against SBP are going to be...

J'onn's intangibility:

Flash's speed:

And most importantly: Firestorm's ability to create red solar radiation:

**Even though not even red sunlight attacks would work if Prime had kept all of his Silver Age abilities when Johns reintroduced him, but that's neither here nor there... shifty

This is a tough call. If Amazo plays it smart, I think he can pull a majority. If he slips up at all, however, Prime WILL win.

Board Walker
Superboy prime was immune to red solar radiation, it was a lack of sunlight that depowered him.

I'm talking about SBP's very first appearance in DC Comics Presents #87. Just like Kryptonite, only red solar radiation from his own universe could affect Prime back then -- he was completely immune to red radiation from Superman's universe:

...Yet he could still absorb the normal yellow sunlight in Superman's universe without issue... Gotta love Silver Age haxx. laughing out loud

But as I mentioned earlier: that's a moot point anyway, because Johns didn't adopt that trait when he reintroduced Prime in current continuity.

That being said, red solar radiation is definitely not the proverbial 'silver bullet' against Prime that you seem to think.

*First off, the Flashes managed to BFR Prime, and kept him imprisoned under a red sun for YEARS:

To be more specific, they sent Prime to the earth/universe of an alternate Flash, where he was also under the constant supervision of said Flash:

http://i.imgur.com/iNUGYup.jpg

And though we don't know all of the particulars behind how Prime escaped, the fact that an alternate Flash was nearly beaten to death by him(*see above*), coupled with Flash's terrified demeanor upon fleeing to earth to warn the heroes, coupled with his frantic statement: "We couldn't hold him! He escaped! He's coming!", HEAVILY implies that Prime managed to escape that alternate earth/universe under his OWN power...Which is insane:

*Secondly, even a blast of PURE red solar radiation from Red Star had a very minimal effect:
http://i.imgur.com/kzxFfiG.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/mdkfNO6.jpg
*And Prime wasn't even at full power there.

We saw nearly the EXACT same result when Sun Boy used red radiation against Prime:

*Based on what we KNOW, it took getting flown through the HEART of an ACTUAL red star to fully depower Prime:

http://i.imgur.com/zJTFWum.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/ta601GZ.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/IN83KFj.jpg
*But even after that, Prime still had enough power left to beat/kill E2 Superman. /shrug

...Now don't get me wrong; I am not saying that Prime can tank red solar radiation indefinitely. However, it clearly takes MASSIVE exposure to have a lasting impact on him -- a few blasts here and there simply won't do the trick. thumb up
