In character, when Krypto fights, he fights like.....well, an animal.

Would CM go all out from the bell, in character, like OP said, against a dumb animal? I will need to see scans (which have been sadly lacking).

He's not wrong.

Cap and the Marvel family have been on a steady decline for years, with only a few writers like Morrison trying to give him some respect.

The Nu52 SHAZAM characterization is basically the Captain Marvel mythos hitting rock bottom.
