For me , Jim Lee .

Jim lee for me too.

He can do a regal or bad ass supes just as easily.

John Byrne.
Powerful, yet human Supes.
Great with the supporting cast & villains, too.

The only Superman artist I really dislike is Renato Guedes.

I'm not 100% sure about the last one - the style doesn't seem quite his, though I still like it - but Google told me it was him, so /srug.

He's not known for his Superman art, though, so like I said, it's a bit of a non-answer. His WW is amazing, though, and he's got some interesting Spidey stuff too (though he may not be my favorite Spider-Man artist).

I'm not a huge fan of Jimenez personally, but I won't begrudge anyone that likes him. He's no Bachalo, at least.

I also feel like it got some things fundamentally wrong about Superman, but that's a different conversation altogether.

The only real issue I had with Cain was that his Clark honestly felt a bit smug at times. That kind of "how do these dumb mother****ers not see that I'm Superman" thing.

Grant Morrison's work was only saving grace for new 52 Superman.

Johns Superman was just an angry brute. There is not a single noteworthy moment for Superman in Justice League other than he beats Hal, tried to choke out batman and beats Flash.

Oh and tried to attack Diana for almost kissing Steve Trevor. Way to go Johns.

Superman was a non entity in Justice League, you could remove him from the team altogether and it would hardly change any story.

New 52 Superman was terrible. I read the first comics and even Morrison's issues were lacking.

For me this version of 52 Superman was never the real Superman, glad they went back to the old one.

But new 52 Superman, for me, at least, was not good and very disappointing.

Darkseid arc: He gets oneshotted by Darkseid and needs rescuing by batman. Gets overpowered by Darkseid and Cyborg throws Darkseid in a boom tube.

Graves arc: Gets captured by Graves and needs rescuing by Steve Trevor.

Cheetah arc: Gets corrupted by Cheetah. Aquaman beats Cheetah

Throne of Atlantis : Gets knocked around by Vulko, Aquaman and oneshotted by Orm. Aquaman beats Orm

Trinity War: Gets corrupted by Atomica and killed Dr Light. Is the one person near death in Forever Evil

Amazo Virus: Does nothing but stand around. Lex informed he infected Superman so he is immune to it. Diana is on the front line while Superman is donating blood.

Darkseid war: Corrupted again. Fights Diana. Is useless again in the whole plot.

When you say THAT about the DS arc, the one that established from the get-go that Superman is quite easily the powerhouse of the team... Come on.

Oh Johns established him as the powerhouse by telling but rarely showing it. It was lip service at its finest.

That's why not a single villain was beaten by Superman and there wasn't a single Superman centric arc.
