White I think he just means meta as in power level/tier in his soli series John was shown to be a meta with a power of transportation. He used this to actually summon his suit of armor from a pocket dimension so he could become steel instantly. He also used it to escape trouble a few times. Though I beleive this was later retconmed away also (cant quite recall the details)
