A IT implant in a sentient being's body that monitors them 24/7 and then alerts them to an illness and then diagnoses them?

DarthAnt66
No.

You would think that the majority of illnesses would be eradicated or at least easily treated in the realm of SW.

I so agree. They have Shilmers Syndrome, Bloodburn, Bottleneck and whatever Iden Versio's mom died of. They obviously haven't figured out gene therapy.

Well the fact they still can't replace biological limbs, yet they can clone, means they are not that advanced for a SIFI civilization.

There's the Bio-antidote package implant which maintained an ever-circulating stream of antitoxins to the user.

There's also the Immune Implant which as you can guess from the name, gives the user immunity to disease with a wide-spectrum defense mixture.

No, they have...they've delved into DNA, rewiring it, making it better, changing it, what have you, they know what gene therapy is.
