Who wins?

Fight takes place in the rain, but there's no body of water nearby for Namor to drag Hercules into.

Namor doesn't need the shield. Namor wins because of comparable physical stats but MUCH greater mobility.

I think Hercules is Much Stronger than Namor

he's def in a different class despite their 'battles' most of which are nothing more than sparring matches. depends how effectively you see namor using the shield. i'd say of the 2 herc is the more skilled for sure. i could see him disarming namor tbh. not sure the shield makes that big a difference given that namor would hardly be proficient with it. i'd still take herc for a majority here. shield may get namor an extra win maybe. mobility isn't much of a factor to me because namor would have to close with herc anyway so his mobility goes out the window because to win he has to fight h2h. /shrug

flight not really an advantage. if he had ranged attacks to go along with it, big factor.

Good fight. If Namor can be proficient at the shield then he wins, otherwise Herc wins.

I don't see their classes of strength as all that different, especially given some of Namor's higher showings. I also think Cap's shield could be a determining factor here.

All kidding aside, Namor does have suspect durability against concentrated heat attacks. Luckily that's not something Hercules is capable of reproducing (with or without the mace).

Nah, on land I'd give the advantage to Hercules BUT the OP said it's in raining in this fight. Depending on writer, the rain either invigorates him (see the BRB fight) or at least sustains him but he still needs to visit the ocean to be at 100%(see the old Thor fight). So assuming both fighters are starting in good condition, Namor is golden here.

Tell that to on panel showings between the two, WM couldn't even balance hydrobase himself

Namor ftw, 6-7/10 They are somewhat different. The key is to consider Thing. Namor is a peer to Thing. Thing is not quite a peer to Hercules.

That issue occured when namor had a mental breakdown after being ousted from Atlantis, infact it was hercules who got namor out of it. They've fought nearly half a dozen times in land and they are always shown to be even in strength on land, underwater however, they've fought twice namor outright bullied Hercules, Hercules cheapshotted him with a team of avengers and namor beat him up, they fought another time and namor literally begun to bend him, Hercules list nearly half his strength just struggling, infact, namor saw the fight as so unfair that he had a comic cube change the battlefield to land,but kept himself hydrated, and guess what? They were even again.

I remenber thst arc from an issue of yhe Avengers back in the 60's, Nsmor was being amped by the cosmic cube primarily, and in an Avengers story that I've just mentioned Herc was forcing his way forward while Namor was being held in place lamenting ' the olympian is actually making ground while I am being held in place, how much longer must I be humiliated?'.......quote and unquote.

Also Hercules is at lesst Thor's equal in strength and in a fight with Namor where Thor was being mind controlled into fighting him, Nsmor had Thor under water landing mighty blow upon blow with Thor tanking the shots like he barely felt them, so sorry........but I still maintain that Herc is a notch above him, but Subby is definitely close enough to give him a run for his money.

No sir, the incident that I sm referring to happened AFTER they had their big fight at hydrobase in which Herc started up to get Namor out of that funk he was in, afterwards when Nsmor joined the Avengers they constantly bickered over missions of who should lead the Avengers in Captain America's absence, it was a somewhat friendly/ half serious competitive ego driven thing among them.

As for some of the fights they had years later........the one's that he described may have happen during the time yhat Herc was reduced to being a mortal again by his father King Zeus which reduced his strength in half, but full immortal Hercules IS stronger than Namor.
