I dont see him taking a full telekinetic assault.

Apollo is slightly more powerfult than Brian but only a bit.

wildstorm apollo was herald level, he was beating captain atom for a while until cap figure out his weakness and speed up sun as reactor to overload him
the same arc where cap atom was trading blows with majestic (the guy can rearrange solar sytem)
anyway my memories are vague haven't read that old wildstorm in 10 years

cap britain did have a power boost in early 90s but he still isn't anywhere near herald level

Aollo is stronger, faster flyer, more durable, also has the benefit of long range attacks

Faster flyer is debatable.

Same with durability.

CB is smarter, more skilled, can match their DOOR technology and has some limited range options.

But he won't have to fight Apollo long before Psylocke shuts him down.

Apollo was also listed as Superman level in that very comic.
