I enjoyed Chapter 2, but I sort of lost interest in the story. I'd rather see a prequel than a continuation of Chapter 2. Think they should do a Prologue or Chapter 0.

i've lost zero interest in the story. I couldn't be more interested.

i do however agree with your prequel statement. a "Chapter 0" where they show John Wick before he retired and ending with his impossible task, would be fun to see.

Yeah, I think a prequel is the only way to go because that was really why Chapter 2 didn't work as well as the first film, because it really wasn't very grounded and believable anymore. If they do a prequel they can bring back Willem Dafoe and John Wick's wife could be in there and they could really emotionally ground it again.

The way i saw it, it wasn't a coincidence that all those people were there, Winston organized that meeting and had all the killers congregate in that area to freeze on his command so he could make the point of how far the organization stretches, and to stress that John is a deadman. Also, I don't think it was all of New York; after John Saw all of those people freeze, he was just paranoid thinking that literally anyone with a phone was seeing his contract.

When this one gets released our local film distributor better get their ass into gear.

So here's the plans... sounds like it'll be the same direction that Chapter 2 went in... doesn't sound like a prequel...

Loved John Wick and I loved the sequel as well thought I did prefer the first film, so can't wait for chapter 3

I liked part one a lot but part two was just damn amazing. Chapter three is gonna kick ass.

Mark Dacascos got cast in this. If he's the villain, the fights should be ****ing fantastic.

Yeah, the trailer is really good with the music and everything.

The action and cinematography looks great, I just hope it has a story to back it up. I'm not entirely hopeful.

Pretty sure I saw the director express interest in doing these pretty much forever as long as there's an audience for it.

Though it seems at the end of the 2nd film he's going to be taking on the whole world as everyone is an assassin (or associated with) in the Wickverse, so not sure there's going to be anyone left for him to fight for a 4th film.

Should be fun. It does seem like it'll have some unique sequences, like the motorcycles fight. Also looking forward to the attack dogs.

I might wait for a cheap theater showing, though. I was a little disappointed spending full price for Chapter 2 because it didn't feel as much like the first movie.

Mark Dacascos is a underrated wonderful action star that didn't get the big breaks which I really hate because Drive I want to see more of those kind of movies with Mark Dacascos a movie that is great quality and executed right.

I can't wait to see this. I watched 1 and 2 just a few months back and they were awesome. Hope 3 will meet the high expectations

Trailer failed to impress me, but I really liked Chapter 2.

Oh well I refreshed my screen and it's now at 95% with 55 reviews.

pretty good film... although Berry's character coulda been played by someone else. Love the action scenes and the guns/wakizashi blades that were used. this really should be the last one but i know it won't be. overall i'd give this a solid 7.7/10

This makes me wish the "Raid" movies had a bigger budget considering how well choreographed the fight scenes were on the much larger scale of New York. Would had preferred this movie to be the finale as well thoufh I guess studios gotta make their money.

I loved it. Some of the best fight choreography I've ever seen. The whole series has raised the bar in my opinion for this genre. I prefer this type of fighting compared to CGI Gods fighting each other.

This... did not disappoint.

Felt it went a bit too long near the end, Other then that it was a good sequel.

I had a blast with this. Especially the first half or so. Some of the most amazingly well choreographed and filmed action/fight sequences I've seen. I mean, in its own way it was up there with Mad Max: Fury Road. I was giggling like a school girl and sometimes outright laughing (my wife was like, "This isn't supposed to be a comedy!" ) The attack dogs were amazing. I didn't realize how hilariously entertaining they were going to be (how many poor crotches got bitten? hahaha), and Halle Berry stole the show for a while while she was in front of the camera. She was super intense and kicked some serious ass. This felt like the sequel they wanted to make because they clearly had so much fun designing these action sequences. This was way better than Chapter 2, though that one has grown on me also.

My only complaint was what Kaz was alluding to. Some of that final fight sequence should have been cut. Especially the moment when the guys Wick was fighting had the opportunity to kill Wick and didn't. That was weird. Did they admire him so much that they wanted to get killed by him? *scratches head* So that was some odd editing choices there. But other than that I felt like it was damn near perfect. Can't wait to buy it and watch again and again.

Oh yeah, something I wasn't expecting to see in a John Wick movie: ballet.

But it was geat. Oddly enough it was visually engaging and spectacular. The Wick movies use violence and fights as a dance.
