Snake eyes has already easily beaten C. Viper, a psycho power created Blanka (with Stormshadow's help), and a psycho power created Vega. Not only that, but Stormshadow, who has been shown and stated to be Snakes inferior evenly fought an amped M. Bison and only lost because he wanted to. If that weren't enough, Snake Eyes knows Ryu's fighting style and Ryu has expressed absolutely no knowledge of Snake Eyes' style.
