I posted an article awhile ago about how Darth Vader didn't get paid for Return of the Jedi, because of how Hollywood sets up shell companies to drive down profit margins, for the purpose of tax breaks and avoiding paying actors who aren't big enough to get paid off the top, but get stuck on the back end.
