Are cosmic powers and quantum energy weak to bricks?

Round 1. All out battle.
Round 2. Annihilus gets a Yellow Lantern Ring. Gladiator is backed up by the Imperial Guard.
Round 3. Gladiator and BRB vs the Annihilation Wave. Annihilus has no Quantum Bands and just his Cosmic Control Rod.

annihilus kills him. without the bands he was shown to be on par or greater than jane. with the bands he's too much for glads.

But Nova physically overpowered Annihilus and took out his guts? Isn't Gladiator much more physically imposing than Dick?

But that was Annihilus AFTER he got hit with Galactus' galaxy destroying blast no? The Quantum Bands were drained shielding him and he still barely survived. I'm sure Gladiator would wreck that version of Annihilus too.

Nova exploited a weak point too. All Gladiator does is rake the eyes from time to time.
