Intriguing match!

Both have a form of life drain; both are physically formidable as well.

I do not recall Morlun having the ability to drain the energy of anyone or anything not classified as a "totem", however.

And without that, I don't think Morlun would be able to deal with Omega Red's "death factor"; not even the low-level version I seem to remember O using when he's charged enough to be in control of his powers and only wants to subdue, not kill his opponents.

One other possible factor is how radioactive Red is or is not.
I seem to remember he kept on looking for something called a "C-synth" to neutralize a radioactive cancer or something.

Someone told me the "C" in C-synth stood for "Carbonadium", which is the metal his tentacles are made of. I've heard alternately that they stabilize his condition OR were the cause of it in the first place. Guess it depends on who you ask and when.

Then, too, I remember some episode of X-Men, the 1990s series, where Storm and Wolverine had to fight Red with radiation suits. The pair were fighting him in some Soviet sub, trying to prevent thermonuclear missiles from being fired.
Wolverine's suit got torn and they had to saved by Rogue, who used her strength to bend some large metal parts of the sub, and either got it to crash, separating the duo from Red in the confusion, and/or helped free their escape pod.

I think Red might have been down there because he was RESISTANT to radiation, though; not the cause of it himself. If I get the chance, I might search YouTube for a clip and more complete answer.

Anyway, edge to Omega Red, 7/10.

Morlun's only chance if he can't drain Red is to overcome him swiftly hand to hand. Given that he's torn adamantium nets in the past, that's quite possible, but he's got to get in range first ...

Morlun drained an alt Genis, I believe the one from Avengers Forever. His daddy drained the Uni-Power too.

Not sure what a "Genis" is, alt or otherwise, so I can't respond to that portion of your message properly. Fairly certain the Uni-Power you mentioned was taken through a "totem", however, a Spider-Man who possessed that power.

Found the clip I was thinking of.
Memory of it was quite close.

So, while YouTube allows ihis link to work and to be posted ...

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GJPNE8MV0fQ Because it was life force, not because it was connected to a totem.

Morlun also drained an ordinary woman on the street in his first story.

The problem here is Omega Red is radioactive due to his carbonadium unless it is retconned or somehow gone and that's Morlun's kryptonite.
