Gorr vs Larfleeze

Who wins?

AbelAnderson
Gorr wins, he was above OKT.
But Larfleeze isn't push over given he had an upper hand against Hal with both green and blue power ring, and he also destroyed an army of GL...etc.
Gorr on the other hand, had taken god blast from OKT without clear damage, covered a star with his powers, ripped an elder god's heart...etc
I'd put Larfleeze at somewhere close to the skyfather tier, but Gorr is there above OKT.

Larfleeze has also destroyed an entire pantheon who destroyed their entire universe.

MrMind
Larfleeze

killing random nameless gods does not come close to having the power of an entire lantern corps, Larf is above skyfather

the fights in god butcher arc was not impressive at all compare to the lanterns big fights that deal with universal threats

Stoic
All Black the Necro Sword is capable of one shot killing a Celestial.

abhilegend
Who isn't nowadays?

Stoic
The same can be said about Lanterns, and their Guardians. But by all means tell me who is one shot killing Celestials these days. And who easily destroys Gods that wrestle Black Holes for fun.

The funny thing is that Knull killed the celestial before he created necrosword.

He was also defeated and buried by symbiotes.

Knull used a weakened version of the All Black to kill the Celestial before making it more powerful. Knull was also trapped by those Symbiotes after falling victim to an assault by the Celestials if I am not mistaken. Anything ever hurt Larfleeze?

There was no connection given with the earlier weapon and necrosword.

He wasn't defeated by celestials. He was defeated by a random god on the home planet of Gorr.

Stoic
Correction. It was the light from Thor's lightning that caused Knull to be engulfed by the Symbiote race. sorry just checked.

Stoic
A symbiote attached itself to the legendary European monster named Grendel that Knull used as a puppet, and the light of Thor's lightning cut the connection between Knull and the Grendel host which also cut his connection to the symbiote race/horde.

Gorr did not have any weakness to light as shown when he repeatedly took lightning strikes from all three Thor's. Even the all father Thor with the Thor Force was unable to put him down during the God of Thunder God Bomb arc.

Knull was also killing those random Gods by the bus load before being brought down by one of them that likely hit him by surprise if we consider how many of those same random gods he killed before being injured.

Being objective to both sides. I'm only seeing you argue for one side without showing both sides strengths and weaknesses. Comes across as being a bit biased.

abhilegend
Yes, he has been hurt. But even with two lantern corps, two guardians, WL Kyle and Hal Jordan wouldn't have enough to beat Larfleeze.

Gorr isn't that powerful.

Seriously? The guy that created the symbiotes decapitated a Celestial (the same guy that's weak vs Thor's 'divine' lightening)? Phucking FAIL Marvel!

Larfleeze destroys this clown (and Knull).

Why wouldn't Gorr be able to do everything that you mentioned? I mean what proof do you have? Gorr was blasted a light year away into a planet without showing any signs of injury when he took a shot from All Father Thor. AF Thor was superior to Odin with the Odin Force according to on panel citation.

At this point U shouldn't be surprised at what he can do. He's as powerful as the story needs him to be.

He's not weak to Thor's lightning, I think it's more the fact that Thor's lightning surprised him and temporarily shortcircuited his control of all those symbiotes.

At any rate I'd still take Larfleeze over Gorr.

There was a connection BTW. They are the same weapon. Knull later tempered the All Black in Celestial fire as shown on panel.

Correct. Thor's lightning cut Knull's connection to the symbiote race, and in his weakened state they jailed him.

The first weapon he ever created, the proto-symbiote, WAS the Necrosword in it's infant form. It became All-Black after being forged in the Celestial's head and killing pantheons:

It literally transitions from him whipping the weapon one, killing the Celestial (It even highlights that as he is banished by the First Host, he is grasping his first sword), and forging the All-Black.

I'm not too sure about the low feats, but he had a lot of high ones in his solo series. He took on several trans to skyfather level opponents at the same time. And they ended up destroying their own universe, before they fought Lar.

Postimages glitch (Hence the comic link). Here is the full sequence again. Read it, CAREFULLY:
https://s22.postimg.cc/mbc49cgyl/RCO005_w.jpghttps://s22.postimg.cc/odlses3wd/RCO006.jpg https://s22.postimg.cc/am84le5fh/RCO007.jpg https://s22.postimg.cc/48j1i4stp/RCO008.jpghttps://s22.postimg.cc/4lafodvot/RCO009.jpg

LOOK at the pictures. The sword was never destroyed. We see that the blade survived his banishment in his hand as he falls. And when the picture fades to black, he is forging the All-Black from that same sword.

https://s22.postimg.cc/5zb9auhc1/Inked_RCO006_LI.jpg

The biggest irony? This actually HURTS your argument in this thread. Following your narrative, Gorr would one-shot kill Larfleeze using power scaling.

A being who could casually whip out a weapon that could one-shot kill Celestial, imagine how much more powerful would a weapon he actually put blood and tears into be? Magnitudes superior.

Unfortunately, I'm not a deceitful little shit like you are, so I have to take a stance that makes Gorr's weapon less impressive, but your dumbass thinks "Indirect Thor feat", and your little brain starts spinning like a hamster in it's ball trying to find a way to invalidate it. Ironically, taking a stance that there is:

Smh.

New's flash dumbass: The connection is that if he can one-shot kill a Celestial with a casual construct, a weapon he forged that he put so much power into, he was near helpless for centuries, would be noticeably more powerful.

Your stance also completely ignores the narrative. Why go through ALL that trouble, harp on it being the first-blade, the first-symbiote, his first-creation etc. if it WAS NOT his actual FIRST creation etc? I just don't get it. It's so completely unnecessary.

Hey dumbass, what is that in the third panel?

Now you have conceded the whole argument. Power scaling, huh?

Except it did not. He was defeated by a random god when he had necrosword.

Necrosword couldn't even kill normal Thor in one hit when Gorr actually tried. Forget about killing celestials.

So now you have conceded that the necrosword is the sword which killed celestials and are just going by speculation? Good to know.

Because the first sword was created by the void of creation. Necrosword wasn't.

How are you so dumb? It must be a special gift.

A fade to black....is the sword being destroyed?

What evidence do you happen to have that the between the second panel and the fourth panel:

- The original weapon was destroyed. AND
- He pulled out an exact replica of the first sword which he calls his first creation..

NemeBro
Considering that Knull specifies that the Necrosword is made from his own "shape" (as opposed to his body), and that he appeared to pull it from his shadow, which is his shape in darkness reflected by the light.

I can't really see the sword he used to slay the Celestial being argue to be anything but the Necrosword tbh.

The first sword was pulled from the abyss. Second sword or necrosword was pulled from his own shape.

Both are made distinct.

Ah, I get it, I thought you were a liar. I know realize you're just mentally impaired.

The fourth panel is Knull HAMMERING on the sword inside the Celestial forge.

That is why there is a large "TONG" onomatopoeia, and in the 5th panel, we zoom out to him doing the work.

It's not it being destroyed by the Celestial's. He was banished by them in the second panel

It's also pretty odd that they let him live.

Wasn't Knull from the Abyss? I saw him pull the sword from the shadow of a Celestial's palm. Thanks for making me re-read the issue when I get home from work btw. Do you think that you may be making more out of this than there really is?

For one; There would be no reason for him to make another sword since we see how powerful the first one is.
2ndly; Where did it show the Celestial's destroying the first sword? You aren't talking about Knull tempering the blade when we see the "TONG" visual effect are you? That was Knull hammering the sword in the remaining skull of the Celestial that he had killed with it. He one shot the Cosmic with little to no reprisal.

Okay no biggie. Knull the blade, and the severed Celestial's head are banished to the void. Knull then begins tempering that same blade.

Abhi I once did the same thing while reading the bible. Jesus was asked by the demons that possessed Legion to send them into the pigs that were close by instead of out in the world without a host, and I thought that the demons were asking Jesus to allow them to have sex with them....
