Certainly not in anything even remotely resembling a forum fight. They either need a plot device, help from others or/and some huge amp to deal with him... temporarily.

Emerson can also mind manipulate beings/teams too. While in another dimension. If Maxima or Martian Manhunter couldn't deal with him one on one, your average xman won't either.

That's okay though, since neither Jean nor Xavier nor Cable nor Sinister nor Exodus can really touch Apocalypse using telepathy.

The only reason the X-Men beat him in their last encounter was because he was severely weakened AND Pulse had to use all his powers to further weaken him.

Apoc wins.

People vastly under rate Apocalypse and make stupid claims regarding his defeats.
