I think he made a good Superman, but I'd still give DC a chance if they cast someone else...depending on who they cast. I'll still watch the new Wonder Woman movie too.

DC is still putting out some great animated films though. The latest Constantine one was excellent. Justice League Dark and The Death of Superman were also excellent. They need to take the people who write these movies and have them work on live action films.

There really is no hope for DC Cinematic Universe, they have no track record of making good choices in that area.

I heard DOS was good, but that's Animated. Most of their Animated films are decent, but those aren't comparable to Marvel MCU.

The new one is great, has a very Constantine-ish ending, and no Batman at all.

And yeah even the characters in the story were wanking Batman, but meh I still liked it.

Batman wasn't needed in JL: Dark, but was necessary for uninitiated fans of Constantine.

Plus Batmans parents died so...feel bad for him.

I enjoy the CW stuff a lot tbh.

But the movies havent given us anything to be excited about.

Kind of laughable how we have 5 seasons of the Flash on Tv, but they cant get a Flash movie together.

Aquaman will turn it around. The quality of the film and new direction of the franchise gives me hope the war will continue for sadistic purposes.

Aquaman is vital to the sustainability of the dceu and with Wan at the helm I believe it will succeed because I trust the skill of the man.

Its about director like Quan said not the brand. Their is also new leadership at DC that going forward won't make the same mistakes as before.

DC has had obvious issues, but early word of mouth is that Aquaman is very solid. I have high hopes for it, personally. James Wan is a talented director and as long as studio interference doesn't get in the way, should be capable of making a great superhero movie. I'm even hearing rumblings that WB executives are so impressed with Aquaman that they are trying to get Wan to head up the entire DC cinematic brand.

You dont know that much about me from your post. Everyone here knows I was probbably the biggest DC fan on here for 10 plus years I supported all their movies and mishaps, always had an excuse for them. And at least 30 years of my life reading DC comics.
