They get time to train for an entire year on how to best combined their abilities.

But they don't get prep, they have to do it mid battle.

Who wins?

tony and rex on one team would be pretty deadly. so many possible combos in this though (the universal weapon is pretty haxx with it's transmutation abilities) it's almost impossible to predict. still, team 2 doesn't have anyone as capable or smart as tony in a prep scenario so i would choose them most of the time i think.
