team 2 has feats on their side

New Gods are hard to gauge, especially other than lightray and orion, none of the others have much battle feats at all, and even less if we limit it to nu52
also depends how you view metron

mother box and boom tube def gives team 1 the edge on equipments though

They did make the New Guardians (Sinestro, John, Hal, etc...) look like can cannon fodder. And that included Larfleez.

Cosmic Avengers. Although the Council of 8 can possible win through BFR, via a Boom Tube.
