The movie was freaking hilarious so I'll follow this. The humor is the funny cringy kind like The Office, and this show is by the same directors (one of them directed Thor Ragnarok) so it should follow similar beats while expanding on it.

That whole bit is just hilarious. I love how he is presented as the most evil of the vampires.

Loved the film, and wasn't sold on this at first. Then I watched the werewolf episode. JFC, I laughed so hard. Really, really enjoyed the season so far, and I'm really glad to see that they've managed to maintain the style and tone of the movie.

Love the show and laugh like hell. Didn't care for the last episode though. It was to dirty for the wife to enjoy.

Maybe you should show her some of your pornos?

Yeah, that whole prospect of taking something utterly ridiculous/awful/horrifying and make it as mundane as possible while still not losing the inherent darkness, is one of the best things about the show, if not the best.

Or having them deal with modern problems, like vampires having internet lag, etc.

The resolution to the Gregor storyline and Guillermo plot twist were both really well done.

I just watched it. Damn funny stuff. I lol'd when I saw Guillermo's revelation, and that bit with the stakes.

I forgot I made this thread! I did end up watching season 1 eventually, and it was fking fantastic all the way through. I think the funniest character ended up being Colin. I nearly pissed myself when he showed up on the Vamp Council to judge the others (it was nice to see the original three show up here, I missed those idiots). That battle he had with the pity vamp chick was also hilarious.

The new group grew on me quick. I thought I wouldn't care for them as much as the others from the movie, but they're just as good IMO.

It is any better then the film?

Ah okay...because with the film i've only watched about maybe half and hour of it and that was enough for me.

Does a person need to see the movie to understand the series?

I watched it all, and it was ok, but the series (imo) has done it better w. more relatable funnier actors.

About damn time. I love this show, but the cluelessness of the vampires sometimes annoys me.

Honestly I think that's one of the main selling points of the show.

I was pleased this was renewed for a third season. Enjoyable TV show. Humor is on point.

Holy shit that was a bizarre last couple of eps this season.

Really hope this gets another go round so I can see where it all goes.
