One above all in Marvel isn't actually as powerful as we might have thought he was funnily enough.

One has created a multiverse, another has created Hulk.

Tough decision.

Yeah.
TOBA is said to be equivalent of GEB in Marvel despite that TOBA doesn't have any feats to prove it laughing

So the point of this thread was to teach us about how weak TOBA is?

No.
I know little about TOBA.
So, i want to know how powerful TOBA is and how TOBA is compare to WF.

it's too hard to depict the first part of your sentence. even in carver's wildest imagination TOBA is a gnat compared to WF

This is true, TOBA breaks his jaw trying to eat WF.

Note, however, that TOBA needs a host personality to function on the living plane. A constraint TOAA should never EVER have.

honestly, right now, current TOAA==Perpetua/DM, well thats my opinion..

if anyone can prove that TOBA IS == TOAA, then he wins, but I have no knowledge about that, and WF wins this for me..

DarkSaint85
Yeah, no one has proven that TOBA = TOAA, apart from their names. It's like saying you'd get eye damage from a torch - then argue you'd also get damage from darkness, lol.

8swords
is TOBA really that powerful if hes only universal? I say universal because marvel announced (read a news in KMC) that the 2099 is the main timeline, soo that means the timeline where TOBA eats everything is only in that timeline/universe.

AlbertoJohnAvil

DarkSaint85
Yeah but the while 8th Cosmos thing occurs in a non canon reality.

So we still have no proof that TOBA = TOAA, let alone more powerful. The fact that he needs a puppet to open a door, when TOAA needs no such thing, means he's not that powerful.

AlbertoJohnAvil

Senor Cage
TOBA is around Eternity level.

DarkSaint85
Marvel 2099 is the canon future.

As for who said it needs a puppet? Read the scan above. Plus, your own writing. Read point one. Why doesn't it just open the door itself?

Mindless TOBA is mindless.

I can see why carver likes it.

Rage.Of.Olympus
We know it's Multiversal in scope as far as the below place goes. But like the TOAA, it interacts very rarely with the MCU.

My instinct says the TOBA would be the anti-thesis of the TOAA and should technically be powerful than anything else aside from supreme beings. But not enough info at the moment.

MrMind

A plot contrived issue for Thanos to have a chance. The TOAA was supposed to be supreme in reality period, not in a well-functioning one. That implies a power greater than his.

I guess Jack Kirby is > TOAA then.

Best to wait and see. Making any hard claims could result in embarrassment and sore butt affliction.

Except in THIS thread, its not supported by the comics.

Poor analogy, and I know you wet yourself when you read it lol, but not applicable here, alas.

Oh, no I said that TOBA isn't equal to TOAA in POWER. And I said that TOBA needed a puppet to act through on the 616 plane.

Albert asserted the reverse. And used interviews to bolster his stance.

So if you have scans supporting his stance, that TOBA = TOAA in power, and that TOBA doesn't need a puppet, then sure, his interviews are admissible, as they are backed up by comics. Implications? Nah. I never argued that TOAA and TOBA weren't other sides of the coin. I argued power levels, as TOAA doesn't need a puppet, but TOBA does. As my comic scans obviously are at odds with....whatever interviews Albert used, we can't use the interviews.

You obviously don't know what's being argued.

Alberto asserts that TOBA is a mirror and that being a mirror implies equality. The writer makes a statement that supports Alberto's first assertion and Alberto's first assertion is supported by the book. Thus the statement should meet the guidelines for usage. The debatable part of whether TOAA and TOBA are equals in power is not addressed by the statement, therefore not making it a violation of the rules from the standpoint of writer making statement that is not supported in book.

Plus, you made a general, overarching statement that writer statements are inadmissible which apparently they are not. Their inadmissibility depends on factors. So your statement was inaccurate along with you not knowing the definition of "analogy".

My very first comment on the subject:

My second:

Albert's use of interviews was to support his statement that TOBA DIDN'T need a host to work through. This is not true - as my multiple scans showed. Thus, the book does not jive with the interview.

So it is not analogous at all to the thread you posted your Pr quote from - and as I said, the writer interview is not admissible

I wasn't comparing threads, I posted a quote. I made no analogy.

The book does jibe with the statement. He doesn't discuss whether or not TOBA needs a host or not.
