Where would you put him in the Justice League?

Would he (post crisis) be one of the weakest members in the league, or the strongest

Post crisis I'd say he's above Diana due to versatility but below or near say Firestorm and Zatanna

I've actually read all of Capt. Atom solo appearance plus tie ins Capt. Atom regular struggles to absorb anything above a city level blast.

So basically just ignore the time he absorbed a blast that was going to destroy every hero present (said blast made him quantum leap past the end of time to prehistoric time). Or the time he absorbed the nuclear warhead in the mountain base that became extrem Justice's headquarters (that one made him leap about 10 minutes forward because he absorbed it too fast). Or all his JL appearances, what he did on Wildstorm earth.

No instead lets focus on his solo series which was set when he was a neophyte NOOB without a complete understanding of his powers.

lol i can show you a dozen of showings from Atom that's below planetary. It's HIGHLY debatable if he's "oine" of the strongest jl members

In the comic it was stated he had limitless energy they didn't full comprehend his abilities he'd just turn to Capt. Atom and they stated he had limitless energy in the quantum field but when he was put to the test and was trying to absorb a nuclear reactor he quantum jumped into the future because he overloaded. I'm not saying atom doesn't have a few feats that are impressive but he's largely planetary he got KOed by city level blasts on like 3 occasions.
