He took a full power blast from Galactus, which staggered him, and came back and nearly killed Galactus. This was a very well fed Galactus unlike the emaciated Galactus that old King Thor waged a war against. Tyrant should defeat them all if we use comparisons. Tyrant is on a higher level than Sky Father.
