What we know...

Pheromones work on Ares quite well. He's vulnerable to all kinds of manipulation, actually.

Daken's bone claws sliced through Ares' war cleaver with little effort.

I don't remember if Daken still had his Muramasa claws at that point. They would make it a stomp in his favour.

He just pissed Ares off, so he could use him against F4, iirc.

It ends in butt play.
