Firelord, he may be flaming for Gabriel but he doesn't lose to Iron Man.

Well, Firelord did lose to Spiderman.

Btw...........a question for anyone who might know, waa it ever explained why Firelord's appearance is different now than from what it was?

Blastaar almost stole the universe in the last run of Fantastic Four.
I think if he can find a new power besides the infinity gems that he'll wipe out the elders of the universe.

That was a modern, redesigned look during the Annihilation event.

It didn't stick.

Those new looks NEVER stick, comic books always go back to immortal classics.

So was it the result of a power upgrade during that arc?

I could be wrong, but I believe it was just the artist given free rein and desperately trying to stop Firelord from sucking.

New designs don't always come with an explanation. Nuke, for example, got bald and fat all of a sudden, even though he is a damn cyborg.

The new look did look more impressive than the old.

It mirrors TV shows where the actor who made a particular character so iconic that it's almost a crime to recast the role, so the character ends up dying along with the actor who made him an household name.

If Blastaar drains Firelord and creates a worm hole he could do what Thanos did to the Elders of the Universe in the infinity gauntlet only he would do it to Galactus heralds.
