There is a limit. The rules prohibit changing the rules in threads that are in active debate, or have gone on for pages.


As this one is in active debate. Ikon suit changes this thread about as much as giving Batman the Insider Suit against Captain America.

The rocket ripped the bandolier on him, not the suit.

As per the creator, it's virtually impenetrable at the size of a human fist.

If Iron Fist needs a chance, he's going to have to do a massive AoE blast, not like in that black and white scan. And that presupposes his sword doesn't just absorb the energy.

And with Panther, that's a completely different scenario.

Fun fact, Darksaint once posted how the suits shields protected him from a magical dimension that was toxic for living beings.



Iron Fist has a similar feat of being in a void that should instantly kill any living creature, and was standing there like he was walking in the park.

I wouldn't recommend reading Living Weapon. The writer is one of those SJW Canadian types, he actually talked about "privileged" in an interview.


Immortal Iron Fists is a different animal though. Same writer, but he goes into completely campy, with 1980's Breakfast Club type drama, Danny Rand at PTA meetings between chasing after absurd dragon-demons and collecting scrolls, riding on the back of a "Mother Dragon" colored pink..

Based on Stoic's assertion that he was too late. So with such a firm assertion, I would have thought he had something as clear cut as the rules to back him up.

You jumping in and white knighting him means that you presumably had something too. But it just seemed to be a big puff of nothingness.

But not too late to get a mod to do it for him. It's a subtle difference, but an important one.

In terms of battle tactics, Danny was smart enough to realize he isn't beating Whirlwind in a fight, tracked him down ninja style, and beat him up in his hotel room with his armor off.

He can most definitely be an idiot at time, but much less so when it comes to fighting (Which lets be honest, is all he's good at.

You should read John Ostranders run on Heroes for Hire, I think you'd get a chuckle out of Danny's career as a "leader". Captain America, he was not.)
